Welcome 2018 National Western Stock Show attendees! Believe it or not, folks from around the nation have been traveling to the Mile High City to buy and sell livestock for 111 years, making it one of Denver’s truest traditions. And let’s not forget the judging competitions and rodeo, including mutton busting, something our own Sous Chef, Steven Cox, was a champ in during his youth.

The other great tradition is the the amazing evenings out during the stock show, a time when Denver restaurants meet a tidal wave of hungry visitors whom we only get to see this once a year. We look forward to meeting the lofty expectations from these discerning diners once again. Vesta, despite surroundings that are a bit more hip than the traditional steak house, proudly serves locally-sourced beef from Harris Ranch of the Western Slope, and beautiful lamb chops from Fort Morgan.  Chef Nick Kayser likes big cuts of meat too, so we’ll be offering a large porterhouse in tandem with our whole menu until the stock show ends on January 21st. To match, our wine list is vast–we’ll be ready to pop some gorgeous bottles to pair.

Service is friendly, warm, personal, and professional, part of the reason Vesta has thrived in the historic Lodo district of downtown Denver for over 20 years.

So, we hope yo see you all again at Vesta this year! Like the NWSS, we’re a local staple, and have been for years and years.  Here’s to a great 2018 show!
